Comply with all laws.

Respect the people, as well as public and private organizations and institutions.

Renew his/her identity card (RNE).

Inform your residence and keep it up to date at the Federal Police Stations and CONARE.

To request authorization from CONARE prior to any international travel.Refugees recognized in Brazil can only travel abroad with CONARE’s authorization. This authorization must be requested through the email

. Refugees who leave the Brazilian territory without CONARE’s prior authorization will be subjected to the loss of their refugee status.

ATTENTION: a refugee that is recognized by CONARE will only be considered a refugee in the Brazilian territory. Other countries are not obliged to recognize as a refugee someone that has already been recognized as such in another country. Therefore, if you were recognized as a refugee in Brazil and would like to travel abroad, you must request CONARE’s authorization and you will be treated according to the migratory law from the country where you intend to travel.

Renew his/her Provisional Protocol at Federal Police stations, and to keep it up to date.

Inform his/her residence and keep it updated at the Federal Police Stations and CONARE.
