Meeting of the Representative of UNHCR in the Republic of Tajikistan with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan

On 11 July 2016 Mr. Vito Trani, newly appointed Representative of UNHCR in the Republic of Tajikistan, had a meeting with His Excellency Mr. Sirojidin Aslov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan.  In the course of the Meeting Mr. Vito Trani presented the Letter of Credence to His Excellency Mr. Sirojidin Aslov and discussed further cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and UNHCR on persons in need of international protection as well as all the other issues of mutual interest.    

Mr. Vito expressed his appreciation for the Government’s ongoing support of UNHCR and contribution to protection of refugees, stateless and other persons of concern in the Republic of Tajikistan.
