2016 edition of the IOC "Ethics" texts collection

At its meeting of 7-8 June 2015 in Lausanne, the IOC Executive Board approved the revision of the Code of Ethics, the Statutes and Rules of Procedure of the Ethics Commission as recommended by Olympic Agenda 2020. The Code of Ethics is an integral part of the Olympic Charter

On 8 December 2015, the Executive Board also approved the first edition of the Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions and the Regulations for the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games 2016 on the prevention of the manipulation of Olympic competitions.

The 2016 edition of the collection "Ethics" includes the IOC Code of Ethics and all its implementing provisions, including the Rules of Conduct for the Candidature Process Olympic Games 2024, the Rules Concerning Conflicts of Interests, the Basic Universal Principles of Good Governance of the Olympic and Sports Movement, the new Olympic Movement Code on the Prevention of the Manipulation of Competitions and its application for the Rio de Janiero Olympic Games, the statutes of the Ethics Commission and its Rules of Procedure.
