13 March 2013 | Publisher: Ireland: Refugee Documentation Centre | Document type: Query Responses

Moldova: 1. What protection can the state authorities offer the person from the gang he fears and what mechanisms are open to the person for redress? 2. Can the person avail of witness protection if they decided to report allegations? 3. Are there viable relocation alternatives within Moldova for such a person? 4. What is the likelihood of problems for someone who returns and wishes to have nothing to do with a criminal gang anymore - bearing in mind that the person has not gone to the authorities or reported to anyone?
