How cool is the Bergisel Stadium?
Bergisel is not only famous for being one of the world’s coolest ski jumping venues, it has also hosted two Olympic Winter Games Opening Ceremonies (1964 and 1976) and now the first ever Opening Ceremony for the Innsbruck 2012 inaugural Winter Youth Olympic Games.
From the final preparations and the athletes parading into the venue to the three Olympic cauldrons being lit and the incredible fireworks display lighting the sky, we captured it all on this fantastic time lapse video.
