THE OLYMPIC MULTIMEDIA LIBRARY
The Olympic Multimedia Library contains 400.000 photos, 33.000 hours of video, 2.000 archive documents, 8.500 hours of sound recordings and 20.000 Olympic Museum objects.
This unique heritage covers:
- The ex-libris Coubertin fonds, the Coubertin manuscripts and other presidents’ archives
- The recordings of all the Sessions and meetings, representing a source of historical evidence
- IOC copyright photographs
- Worldwide television broadcast images
University professors and researchers undertaking an Olympic and/or sport related academic activity can access this platform for a period of 3 months. They will have the possibility to illustrate, check and refer to digitised content linked to Olympic competitions and institutional activities from 1894 to the present day.
