IOC President sees great progress in PyeongChang
IOC Pesident Thomas Bach was in PyeongChang today just ahead of the 500-day landmark before the Olympic Winter Games.
He saw the progress being made on a number of venues at the mountain cluster, including the sliding centre and the International Broadcast Centre. He also visited the construction site of the Olympic Village, where all 600 apartments have already been sold to the public.
Later he went on to Gangneung, where the ice sports competitions will be held. He saw the great progess being made at the figure skating, speed skating and ice hockey venues, which will all host test events this winter.
