Protection Policy and Legal Advice

What We Do
© UNHCR / P. Wiggers

UNHCR as the guardian of the 1951 Convention and its 1967 Protocol has an interest in making its legal and protection policy research findings available to decision-makers, academics, lawyers, judges, NGOs and the general public. The Department of International Protection, through its Protection Policy and Legal Advice Section, has started a series of legal research and protection policy papers. Comments are welcome; please send them to E-mail Protection Policy and Legal Advice (PPLA).

If you have written a paper in the refugee law area in English and you are interested in making it available on this website, please submit it for consideration to the Protection Policy and Legal Advice (PPLA), together with a brief outline of your educational and professional experience.
