Our Field Offices
We work in all 14 governorates of Syria, with staff based in UNHCR’s Branch Office in Damascus and five field offices in the cities of Aleppo, Qamishli, Tartous, Homs and Swaida.
To reach the effected population in all parts of Syria, UNHCR has established partnership agreements with 21 non-government organizations operating in different locations inside Syria. And we continue to support 32 community centers around Syria. We plan to reach 80 community centers by the end of 2016.
To date, UNHCR has expanded its network of outreach volunteers to about 1170 volunteers to ensure the humanitarian access to the people in need.
