	About	Don Bosco planning and Development office (DBDON) is a salesian initiative empowering the young in East Africa .It was founded in 1996 with the primary role of linking activities, funding and support of grass root projects favouring the marginalize poor, street children, refugees, displaced youths and those orphaned by AIDS and victims of addiction in East Africa. In the spirit of St.. John Bosco our founder, DBDON is committed towards empowering the young in East Africa through Educational, Social, Agricultural, primary Health care projects as well as youth animation programs. All aimed at improving the lives and addressing the felt needs and aspirations of individuals and communities. Our key element being, working to maintain an environment which relationships amongst beneficiaries, benefactors and staff is characterized by love, peace and justice.
