Rokia Traore meets with refugees in Burkina Faso
The Malian singer listened to her compatriots’ compelling stories in Goudoubou refugee camp
Over 267,000 people remain displaced within Mali or in neighbouring countries following fighting between Governmental forces and rebel groups that erupted in the north of the country in January 2012. Musician and UNHCR supporter Rokia Traoré recently visited Goudebou refugee camp, Burkina Faso, and met some of the refugees displaced by the violence.
