Results/Impact | Portuguese course developed specifically for refugees. The workouts are very competitive and participants have a high probability of getting employment after completing training. |
Why is this considered a Good practice? | The following lessons learned have allowed this program to be successful: Choosing national organizations that are recognized by the business community in Brazil. Some refugees have mentioned that the certificates issued by these organizations, carry more weight in terms of access to employment than their refugee cards. In addition, training courses are more effective when they are developed based on trends and the needs of private companies. |
