Objectif(s)Improve the quality of life of the refugee and Ecuadorian populations through access to micro credit as a tool to promote productive microenterprises.
Results/Impact

The project benefited 1,010 people, of which 55% of the beneficiaries are women. UNHCR gave an initial revolving fund of $40,000 and so far it has already rotated 7.1 times and has granted a total of $355,330 in credit to refugees in an urban context.



Why is this considered a Good practice?Microcredit is the main tool of integration as it allows the beneficiary population to implement their productive ideas to generate their own income while contributing to the local economy.
