Alek Wek meets Naomi in Juba and is very touched by her courageous story.

Naomi is 83 years old and lost three sons to the conflict. She now lives in a returnee community in Juba and takes care of her grandchildren.

Alek Wek states “I have always felt it important to support the efforts of organizations that help refugees rebuild their lives. As a refugee from South Sudan, I understand what it is like to be forced from your home. It’s painful, scary and can separate you from your loved ones.”
