As of 2014, and in line with the new UNHCR Policy on Partnerships, UNHCR identifies its implementing partners through Calls for Expression of Interest. RFP Shuttle Services on Lesvos

The service provider shall provide safe and reliable shuttle services to UNHCR’s persons of concern within the Island of Lesvos during the period between 1 November and 31 December 2015 with the right to extend up to 6 months.

The service provider shall:

1. Provide vehicles with paid taxes, fees, insurance, etc;

2. Maintain vehicles in good running condition;

3. Pay for fuel, oil, and other spare parts;

4. Have drivers that are hired, supervised and paid for by the shuttle company itself;

5. Comply with the dedicated system in place to monitor the number of trips

6. Clean the buses on daily basis at the end of the service

7. Disinfect the buses every 15 days

8. Be ready to increase or decrease the number of buses or trips if needed
