Invitation to Press Conference

On the occasion of World Refugee Day (20 June),

the UN Refugee Agency in Greece

would like to invite you to a Press Conference on

at the Journalists’ Union of Athens Daily Newspapers (ESHEA)

20 Akadimias str., 1st floor

The Head of the UNHCR Office in Greece, Giorgos Tsarbopoulos, will present recent developments relating to the asylum procedure and refugee protection in Greece, as well as the relevant UNHCR recommendations.

The President of the Greek Refugee Forum, Yonous Mohammadi, will also address the audience.

Furthermore, UNHCR’s global campaign focusing on human interest stories of refugees from the recent or remote past will be presented (www.unhcr.gr/refugeestories).
