Please find attached some news articles that refer to allegations of corruption during the presidency of Raul Alfonsin, leader of the Union Civica Radical (UCR) party, or in some way linked to UCR figures. Information on any allegations resulting in judicial processes, on allegations of corruption within the UCR party, and on measures taken by the UCR to deal with these allegations could not be found among the published sources consulted by the DIRB.
This Response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This Response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
