According to a representative at the Consulate of the State of Israel in Toronto, Israeli citizens do not need to show any special documents other than their passports when leaving Israel from Ben Gurion Airport (8 Sept. 1994). She indicated that the only exception is for military personnel who must obtain a stamp from the army in order to leave the country (ibid.).
For information on the identification documentation requirements and the right of movement of Palestinian residents within, and to and from the occupied territories, please refer to Response to Information Request ZZZ18002.E of 20 July 1994.
This response was prepared after researching publicly accessible information currently available to the DIRB within time constraints. This response is not, and does not purport to be, conclusive as to the merit of any particular claim to refugee status or asylum.
