Judicial Engagement

With the entry into force of the legal instruments of the Common European Asylum System (CEAS), the Bureau for Europe is working on further cooperation with courts, lawyers and other providing legal support to asylum-seekers and refugees. The aim of these activities is to help ensure that the implementation of these instruments and the subsequent national legislation is in accordance with the international law, and in particular the 1951 Geneva Convention and 1967 Protocol.
