Conducting a survey is not an easy task. 

 

Surveys require:

• Staff time
• Survey equipment
• Training room rental
• Office supplies and printing
• Communications equipment
• Drivers
• Vehicle rentals and fuel

 

Depending on the context and on the survey equipment already available, a single survey can be expected to cost between 15,000 and 30,000 USD. Survey coordinator consultants, if required, are recruited at an additional cost. When more than one survey is conducted, additional budget is also needed.
